Christa Myers
The Blackprint Institute LLC was founded in 2019 by Christa Myers, a Columbia University trained public health practitioner with over 15 years of experience conducting equity research and designing and evaluating public health programs aimed at transforming community health in high-need neighborhoods across New York City. Prior to founding The Blackprint Institute, Christa Myers served as the founding Senior Director of Policy, Planning and Performance for The Center for Health Equity at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In this position, Christa set the strategic direction for all of Center for Health Equity’s policy, planning, research and evaluation efforts including those operating at Neighborhood Health Action Centers located in East and Central Harlem, North and Central Brooklyn and South Bronx. Christa is committed to designing and implementing inclusive and equitable processes that generate insights to improve public health systems and that support the people doing the work and the people impacted by the work. Everyone matters. Everyone counts. She’s on a mission to help public servants of all kind (the do gooders), do more good, better.
